Project Summary
Client: Christ Church Sausalito
Christ Church Sausalito needed a more user-friendly website that would allow them to update content easily and stay connected with their community. Their existing site felt outdated and difficult to manage, making it challenging to share news, events, and resources effectively. They were also seeking a refreshed color scheme and a cleaner, more modern design that better reflected the welcoming nature of their congregation. The redesign focused on improving functionality while creating a more visually cohesive platform that supports their mission and long-term communication needs.

To modernize Christ Church Sausalito's visual presence, I refined their brand colors to create a more contemporary and inviting palette. The updated scheme drew inspiration from their existing logo, incorporating complementary tones that added warmth and depth while staying true to their identity. These refreshed colors were thoughtfully integrated throughout the website, creating a cohesive look that tied the logo, imagery, and overall design together. The result was a polished, unified aesthetic that better reflects the church’s welcoming spirit and values.

The redesigned Christ Church Sausalito website was crafted to be both visually cohesive and highly functional, making it easier for the church to share updates and stay connected with their community. The design incorporated a refreshed color palette inspired by their logo, creating a unified and modern look throughout the site. To enhance usability, we streamlined the site’s navigation, making key information like service times, events, and community resources more accessible.
A key improvement was the integration of a custom-styled Google Calendar widget designed to blend seamlessly with the site's aesthetic, improving the appearance of the standard calendar display while keeping event details easy to find. The result is a polished, user-friendly platform that better reflects the church’s welcoming spirit and long-term communication goals.
